Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
Deposit Requirement: A 50% deposit is required for permanent outdoor lighting installation before work begins. For other services, full payment may be required upon completion unless stated otherwise.
Quotes: All quotes provided are estimates based on initial consultations. If additional work or materials are required, we will notify you before proceeding.
Payment Methods: We accept payments through credit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods. Payment must be made within the agreed-upon terms.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Permanent Lighting: A cancellation fee of 25% of the deposit will apply if the lighting installation project is canceled after the deposit has been made and before materials are ordered. Once materials are ordered, the full deposit is non-refundable.
Other Services: For window cleaning, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and mesh replacement, cancellations or rescheduling require a 24-hour notice. Cancellations without adequate notice may incur a fee. The deposit fee is non refundable for cancellations
Our Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the services provided by My House Experts, including window cleaning, pressure washing, permanent outdoor lighting installation, window frame mesh replacement, and gutter cleaning.
3. Service-Specific Terms
Window Cleaning: We provide both interior and exterior cleaning services, including removing spider webs, scrubbing frames, cleaning sills, screens, and vacuuming sills for interior windows. A satisfaction guarantee is offered; we will re-clean any window if you are not satisfied, within 24 hours of the initial service.
Pressure Washing: Our service includes pressure washing of driveways, houses, sidings, roof soffits, and patios. While we take care to avoid damage, homeowners are advised to inform us of any areas requiring special attention. We are not liable for pre-existing damage to surfaces.
Permanent Outdoor Lighting Installation: Installation of custom permanent lighting takes approximately 3 weeks after receiving the deposit. We offer a one-year warranty on installation workmanship. Lighting products are subject to manufacturer warranties, and My House Experts is not responsible for defects due to misuse or alterations post-installation.
Window Frame Mesh Replacement: Complete mesh replacement includes high-quality materials suited to withstand regular wear and weather. Repairs are limited to the mesh itself and do not cover frame damage unless specified.
Gutter Cleaning: Our gutter cleaning service includes debris removal, downspout clearing, and basic inspections. Any issues beyond minor repairs will be discussed, and additional charges may apply for extensive gutter repairs.
4. Liability and Warranty
Damage Policy: My House Experts is not responsible for pre-existing damages, defects, or weaknesses in client property that may worsen during service. While our team takes precautions to prevent damage, any new issues identified during service will be brought to the homeowner’s attention.
Limited Warranty: We offer a one-year warranty on installation workmanship for outdoor lighting services. For other services, we guarantee quality work but do not offer warranties for cleaning or replacement services unless specified.
Weather and Safety Delays: In the event of weather or safety issues, My House Experts reserves the right to reschedule services. We will inform clients as soon as possible and arrange for a new service date.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Property Access: Homeowners must provide clear access to the property and notify My House Experts of any hazards. For exterior services, gates and other access points should be unlocked prior to the appointment.
Special Requirements: Any special requests or requirements should be communicated before the service date to ensure accurate planning and pricing.
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
My House Experts respects customer privacy and ensures that any personal information shared with us is securely stored and used solely for service delivery, billing, and follow-up.
7. Amendments to Terms
My House Experts reserves the right to update these terms and conditions. Clients will be notified of any changes that may affect their service or responsibilities.
